AGENTS

Relay

Proof that an agent handoff happened.

The problem

An autonomous workflow can fail at a single handoff that no one can reconstruct, such as a misrouted task, a dropped instruction, or a compromised node. Signed agent identity tells you who an agent is. It does not tell you what passed between two of them.

What it does

It checks each handoff against the signed identity of both agents (Know Your Agent). It fingerprints the task payload at transfer and anchors a handoff receipt.

What it deliberately does not do

It never judges whether an agent's output was correct. It never grants, revokes, or arbitrates permissions.

What touches the chain

Onchain: a fingerprint of the record, plus minimal provenance (when, by which wallet, under which method version).

Off-chain: the underlying data. It is never published.

Correction model: a fix is added as a new version, so the history cannot be quietly overwritten.

Who controls it: receipts live in a registry controlled by your own wallet. NVNM is not a gatekeeper.

How it fits your workflow

Build and run your workflow · Check each handoff against agent identity · Anchor a receipt at each handoff · Keep a record for every party downstream.
